I was googling today (checking out gossip that Angelina Jolie is planning a homebirth – but that’s another post) and I found this beautiful blog . Lisa is a homebirth midwife in South Australia and her blog is really very  thoughtfully and intelligently written. There’s lots of great information there for anyone with an interest in homebirth. I particularly liked her post about birth plans, given that we touch on this topic in our classes.

My birth plans have been quite similar to the one Lisa has written up in the post. Essentially my plans came down to ‘No to everything, unless I say it’s OK’.
